Happy Anniversary
Mike and I were married 14 years ago, today. This isn't the actual photo chosen as our, "engagement picture"...to see that one click right here...but this is a photo from our, "engagement picture" photo shoot. We walked all over the Virginia Tech campus and our friend Stefan took pictures of us for our wedding invitations. My little sisters, Stephanie and Megan, came with us and treated me like a model. They carried a can of hairspray, a hairbrush and some lip gloss and tried to do touch-ups to my overall look each time we switched locations. I guess I needed some help to keep my 80's hair at a perfect volume. It was 1994 when we got married but, as I have admitted before, I had a hard time letting the 80's go. As big as my hair is here...it was even LARGER in the actual 80's.

Happy Anniversary! We were married in 1994 also! I had a very hard time letting go of 80' hair, and most htings 80's. The music still rocks, and no one has made anything 1/2 as good since. I still use tons of hairspray and only the humidity of Texas has forced me to tone down the 'do!

How I envy your hair... I had limp fine hair all through the 80's and beyond. I used gallons of sun in to try and make up for lack of volume - but that just got me white blonde dry brittle limp fine hair! Sheesh! I wont have good hair until I lose enough to go to wigs! LOL

I think we must be on a similar time schedule here. We were married in 1994. It sounds like we were on our missions at the same time (1992). Could you have been born in 1970?
happy anniversary! wow 14 years! that is awesome! i remember walking all around several different place on many different days in search of the best engagement picture! my husband thought i was crazy to have to take so many pictures! he swears we took hundreds and hundreds of pictures! i'd guess if he were to tell the story again today the number would be somewhere around 1000 pictures! hah!

I thought of you on Wednesday. Happy Anniversary! It didn't seem like it back then, but looking at that picture now, Mike hardly looks of age to drive, let alone get married. It was a great day. Ah, memories....

I'm with Shally...I had orange hair in the 80's because of Sun-In. I just couldn't understand why the blond girls had all of the fun!
