Baller-Bow-Rina

Earlier in the summer, Adam bought a bow with suction cup arrows at a street festival.

This morning Brian said to me, and may I quote, "Look Mom!! I am a 'baller-bow-rina'! My skirt is made out of Adam's bow!" (side note: it is a good thing Adam wasn't inside to see Brian's "skirt".)

Is it just me, or is it a little ironic that he is using a piece of weaponry as his tutu?

Pshaw. Who says my boys aren't in touch with their feminine sides?

He's adorable. And, your room looks so clean and organized! Kudos to you. Let's hope Adam doesn't read the blog...(he would die at that picture!)

SO creative--I'm not sure my boys even know what the real ballerina is to invent a "baller-bow-rina."

Good thing you took a picture and wrote this down to use against him in the future.

What? No real arrows? Come now, Lauren. Let the little boy have some defense against the big brothers.

Adorable story.

What a funny boy you have:) That's the most masculine ballarina I've ever seen!

And I love the new picture of the boys on your blog page. It is so precious, you can tell that they just love each other!

And an bow tutu is masculine enough, right? :)

That smile of his is going to melt some hearts someday...

That is so cute! Leave it to boys to use weapons in such creative ways.

How did his cute little brain even come up with that name. I love 5-year-olds!

See? You don't need a girl. You get the best of both worlds with those boys of yours!

Does that mean he's a killer dancer?

Just wondering. :-)

Ok, you must have some real admirers (sp?)... 17 comments already from yesterday, dang, girl!
Anyway, Ben said he will share his dress up clothes if you need some. We have plenty of tutu's, tights, and ballerina shoes:) Rhet grew up with a ton of girls and I think it makes for the best husbands!! No gender rules about cooking, house cleaning, watching kids. DON'T LET ANYONE TELL HIM ALL GUYS DON'T DO ALL THIS:)

Maybe he can show that trick to M in the near future so we won't have to take any classes. He can be her teacher!

It's hilarious to me how boys to can "butch" up anything. I mean, who else could make a tutu macho?

So cute. I'm wondering how he even knows what a Tutu is. That little man has the greatest smile (and rib cage...)

Seth's waaay too in touch with his feminine side.

We need less princess dresses and more bows around here...bows just look tougher.
