That's right! One, Evan Michael Marshman! It was a sweet moment of victory! His Virginia Tech, Hokie car burned down the track to the amazement of onlookers! The fact that he came in 4th (ya know, 4th place only translates to "so close, but no bubblegum cigar" to a Cub Scout) as a Wolf and a Bear made this moment all the sweeter. Next, he hopes to dominate at districts, and then possibly take over the world! (insert sinister chortle, heh, heh, heh!) In all seriousness...he is so excited to move on...wish him luck!
Evan, you are not allowed to refer to yourself as "The Man" (see most recent post "Evan update...") at districts. Remember son, "pride goeth before destruction".

WaHoo! Congratulations Evan, and of course to Evan's Dad. This is HUGE!
Of course it was a Hokie car, (was your problem with the Wolf and Bear cars that they were painted the wrong colors?)
Evan, go ahead and call yourself THE MAN. You took first! Woot!
Thanks, Kelly! Spoken like a true Cub Scout leader and aficionado!
Way to Evan. Watch out Ga A virginia tech star is on the rise
Awww, rats "Anonymous" tell me who you are...pleasie weazie...it makes it more fun!
Good luck to your boy!!!
yahooooo! That is so awesome. Evan, you're THE MAN! Thanks for sharing, it makes me excited (and nervous) for our upcoming scouting years.
Rock on Evan and your VT car! We just had our and bit the dust, but at least this time all the wheels stayed on and it made it to the finish line.
Best of luck at district (not to mention the world.) You are THE MAN!!!!
Suh-weet! My son and husband will be SOOOO impressed!
woo hoo, congrats Evan!
That's amazing. We've already hired a professional who's guaranteed us a winning car for the end of the month. How's that for messed up? Look for an upcoming blog on it...
Also, if you want to know who anonymous is use your statcounter! Please tell me you have statcounter.
Did he make it himself? Were there any gimmicks used? Come on, we want to know the secrets.
Congrats, Evan. You have achieved an American dream.
Hello Lauren! I've seen some of your comments on Jessica's, but there are so many sometimes I just scan them.:) You are, however, the first official "stranger" to comment on my blog. For that I thank you. Also, your boys are so cute. Congrats on the pinewood win--I'm holding off learning anything about scouts until I absolutely have to when my three boys get in it. And, I love the Poop Not Pie post. Just last week my two year old walked in and asked "Mommy, are your poops all cleaned up now?" Ah, motherhood.
Also, if you do have a statcounter, please tell me how to get one. Thanks!
Sweet car. Does it have spinners for rims?
Oh, it is easy. Just go to www.statcounter.com and read the directions. Then you can see who is stalking you and compete with your sisters.
hahhaa,... the hokie car takes it every time!!! Congrats Evan, we love ya!
Its me Lauren who left you a message on the phone
When Jackson is old enough for races, you want to send that car our way?
I hope you don't mind if it is suddenly painted yellow and green for the UofO Ducks, though.
Congrats on the win!! There was a huge scuffle out this way with the whole pinewood derby thing. Parents get WAY into that!! I'm sure I'll have my turn as well though I can't see myself getting all INTO it like others.
That is pretty impressive. Can we have a guest post by the father, so that we can copy the plans?
How much can I pay you to let us use your car for our race? My husband would pay TOP DOLLAR.
So when will you be posting secrets? I have a year until my oldest is eight and will need all that time to prepare, please help.
