I often tell my kids in moments like that, "I still love you, but I really don't like you right now..." Try a magic eraser? BTW, you are my most loyal commenter. Thanks for sticking around. I miss you.
YES, try the magic eraser! I got sharpie off the walls with it. It took a lot of scrubbing, since it wasn't crayola. But even if it doesn't come all the way off, you could probably lighten it to "hardly noticeable." Good luck! =( Now that I know I'm done having kids, I really can't wait until they're out of the book ripping, scribbling all over everything, splashing in the toilet water phase. Hee hee.
WOW ... that is a great 21st birthday pic right there! I had forgotten (blacked it out more likely) how hard the "twos" are. Go you for keeping your sense of humour.
when I saw the picture (which is what my eye went to first) I thought - oh how cool she's going to do some great floral design on her chair...then I read the full post and feel your pain...
Oh my!! If you don't cry or laugh..well what else is there to do? Some day we'll have our beautiful magazine picture perfect decorated home...some day...
LAUREN, it's so good to "see" you too! I thought it was time to get back to the old blog. I've missed you and your sweet comments. Looks like you still never have a dull moment in your house with those adorable boys of yours.
Oh I so feel your pain!!! Camden and the Sharpie still has me fuming! I refused to clean it up because I knew he would probably do it again. So black sharpie designs are now part of the decor in his room.

Aren't you glad you have a blog to post this on so you don't have a BREAKDOWN?!
Maybe that was just me when I had two year olds... :)

Be SO thankful that he didn't poke the pen through the leather. Ink on the surface is an easy fix.
Boy, I just can't wait til Nolan turns two. NOT!!!
I think a new chair should fix that. :)

It's actually cool in a ultra modern art deco kind of way :)
YOWZAH!
Seriously try hairspray. Spray then scrub while it's wet. It works! Don't ask me how I know.
Maybe you could turn him loose on the entire chair and make it a piece of art? No?
Yeah. God knows what he's doing when he makes the two-year-olds so cute. It's for their own protection.
OH! I almost ended Preston's life a few weeks ago (figuratively speadking) when he got into my makeup.
I completely understand. Oh 2 year olds!!
