Do You Know What This Is?

.
.
Why, it's a chicken finger, of course.
.

.
Sometimes you come up with the silliest ideas for blog posts when you are waiting a seeming eternity for the pediatrician to come in and see your highly active little man.

.
.

I am determined to make this blog post the first evidence of my return to posting more regularly.
.
I heard that. I distinctly heard 3 or 4 of you scoff and snort out loud as you said, "Lauren post regularly ?!"
.
Well...I use the term, "regularly" loosely. I mean...once a year can be considered regular, right?
So, this post will represent the ushering in of my posting more frequently...
.
And because of my lousy posting record...let's hope a return to posting more frequently doesn't usher in the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse, or something...with my recent luck...
.
...just kidding...
.
I had to post this picture for my friend Mary who gave John this darling little coat...and in my defense the NURSE gave John this lollipop as we were leaving. It must stand approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics if a nurse gave it to him, right?

Little John is so adorable!! I love seeing photos of him playing and being active and busy! Make me very happy!

I think the lollipops have to be approved by pediatricians because my pediatrics office has buckets of them ;-)

I had a chicken like that when I was a little girl! Serious blast from the past!

Everytime my blog reader bolds "A Work in Progress" I think, "now who's blog is that again? Oh, HELLO! LAURENS!" And I am thrilled every time. In my mind "regular" will be when I don;t ask that question. That can be your goal okay? (And, please do as I say, not as I do. I realize it has been forver since I've posted regularly myslef.)

NOW....that John. I get that cannibalism is wrong, but cute faces like his make it hard to resist. I just want to squish him and eat him. Maybe just a nibble?

So, what did the pediatrician have to say? I'm assuming that because you didn't say, no news is good news? All on the up and up? I hope so! You both deserve it!

Lauren, John looks so good! And yeah, you crack me up. Can't wait to hear more from ya! And yeah, you should join facebook. I finally did a couple of years ago, and I like it A LOT. Granted, I don't play ANY games or do any of the real time wasters, I just read everyone's updates and keep up with a lot of people.

You are awesome.

So glad you're back...we missed you! At least it was the doctor's nurse that gave him the sucker instead of the dentist's nurse giving it to him!
